Local 2722 of the International Association of Firefighters is a community service oriented organization. We strive to provide the community with as much assistance as possible especially local youth organizations. We hold various fundraisers throughout the year in an effort to raise money for local charities. We currently provide donations to: Cumberland/Lincoln Boys and Girls Club; Cumberland Youth Baseball; Cumberland Colts Football. We have adopted a portion of  Nate Whipple Highway;  we participate in the annual "Fill the Boot" campaign for MDA. We sponsor an annual "Family Day" at Diamond Hill State Park and the annual "Touch-A-Truck" event, also at Diamond Hill State Park.
