North Cumberland Fire District

The North Cumberland Fire District is seeking a progressive professional fire chief to lead and direct the activities of the North Cumberland Fire Department. Reporting to the District's Board of Trustees, the fire chief will oversee 14 full time and 8 paid per call fire fighters with an annual budget of $1.77 million.

The successful candidate should have broad experience in all areas of fire administration including budgeting, personnel, labor relations, and training, operational knowledge in prevention, suppression, emergency medical services, code enforcement, and community education, and demonstrate a commitment to providing a high level of customer care to the community.

Preference will be given to candidates with a Bachelor's degree in fire science, administration, or related field, 5 years experience in a command position, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
